Crimson Accelerators are the key to fast-track CRM solution within business development
Barnet and Southgate College has three main campuses and four training centres across the London boroughs of Barnet and Enfield and was the number 1 college in London for overall performance in 2017*. With these high aspirations and a strong offering of vocational qualifications, the College was keen to provide its business development team with a system which would support their recruitment activities with employers. Head of Commissioning, Marketing & Admissions, Elvie-Jo Shergold takes up the story. “We had used Microsoft CRM previously, but it didn’t really fit the way we worked as a college and the result was that staff found it difficult to use”.
Following presentations to all stakeholders at the College, Barnet and Southgate is initially implementing Crimson Accelerators for Business Development and Vacancy Management. “Business Development supports our overall engagement with employers, effectively tracking the sales pipeline, while Vacancy Management support exactly how we help our employers to recruit apprentices. The bonus is that it will also support our tracking of work experience placements, which is an additional workload that we are having to manage”, says Elvie.
