Business-like approach pays off at Hertfordshire

The University of Hertfordshire is a vibrant, inclusive, campus-based institution with a vision to be internationally renowned as the UK’s leading business-facing university. It has excellent progression rates to employment – 96.5% of students are in employment or further study six months after graduating.

To support its business engagement and innovation activities, the university began looking for a suitable CRM solution to replace the existing system which was due for decommissioning in October 2018. The starting point for this was Microsoft Dynamics CRM, but the business team had identified a number of specific operational requirements which were essential to support the way they worked,  including a variety of customer management regimes.

The Crimson solution to achieve all of this was based on Dynamics 365, but augmented by its Accelerators for Business Development, Event Management and Integration to other university systems.

With the definition successfully completed, the university team is now actively engaged in the detailed solution design phase and Application & Development Consultant, Adebayo Omisore, is very enthusiastic about Crimson’s performance to-date. “I have been impressed by the hard work and understanding from Crimson’s consultancy team in translating our requirements into a solution design. We are on track and looking forward to having the system fully operational in the very near future”.
