The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) places additional requirements on organizations to respect and protect personal data from 25th May 2018. Over the past 9 months Crimson has consulted with many customers and potential customers and produced a number of documents on the subject, culminating in the release of functionality to aid GDPR compliance within its Crimson Dynamics CRM solution.
This initial release focuses on providing the necessary tracking and audit records with respect to consent, data subject requests and data breaches. It also includes new functionality for managing data retention, leveraging existing core capabilities such as data deletion and record deactivation.
The Crimson GDPR solution has been developed in such a way that it can be deployed to the following Microsoft CRM versions – 2013, 2015, 2016 and 365. It has been developed as a separate solution which can be deployed alongside any other solutions which form part of your overall CRM system.
